Poorly Curated Arsenal Emails - Issue #14

www.poorlydrawnarsenal.com

I often get asked what my favorite drawing that I’ve done is. As cliche as it sounds, it’s always the most recent one that I’ve done. There’s a moment of bliss after I’ve completed the drawing that I’m staring at my tablet dumbfounded that what I envisioned in my head actually appeared on the electronic canvas.

Lately, I’ve been playing around with trying to create these things called “shadows” and their counterpart “highlights.” I’ve watched enough of videos on YouTube on color theory during this pandemic that I feel confident enough to try it myself.

It’s amazing what you can learn on YouTube. Sink clogged? Learn how to unclog it on YouTube. Looking to put a hook into a brick wall? Learn how do it on YouTube. Bathroom tub cascading water into your kitchen on the floor below? Turns out you can’t figure out how to fix that on YouTube, you need to call a plumber.

Below are this week’s drawings, and after a ton of positive feedback about it, a permanent weekly doggo picture section.

Have a good week and let’s hope Thursday goes better than last Thursday,

- Poorly

Drawings from this week:

Capoue receives a red card while on a stretcher after turning into a train and barreling through Saka
Auba scores against Newcastle
Kim Little scores twice this week as Arsenal Women win their ninth in a row.

Things I liked to read:

Arsenal need an Identity
