A Poorly Drawn World Cup Recap

From an Arsenal perspective, of course
A Poorly Drawn World Cup Recap

Hello,

I’m attempting to write this with a very happy cat on my lap. She loves computers. She rubs her face against the side of the screen. She tries to get on the keyboard. I think she views them as a source of heat that she must harness before it goes away. It’s either that or she has a strong desire to leave a yelp review of her vet. “3 out of 5 stars. Didn’t tell my human to pet me 24 hours a day. Won’t be coming back.”

Anywho, the first week of the World Cup is done. Arsenal players are fairing pretty well. Granit Xhaka’s Switzerland has a win, Matt Turner’s United States is more or less in control of their destiny, and Ben White has been working on his tan. I love when he does interviews, but this one in particular about how he hates watching sportsball just tickles me. I have got to imagine he’s bored out of his mind on the England bench. Forced to watch the very thing he hates watching. I can’t blame the guy, I don’t want to think about work when I’m done for the day. Some players are passionate about the sport and for others it’s a job.

In lieu of Arsenal matches, I continued the theme from last week, and drew some updates about how Arsenal players are doing at the World Cup. Those drawings, plus the regular scheduled Kitty update, are below.

I have questionable artistic skills and a love of Arsenal. Here is where I combine the two.
